Start from what is happening

Nine situations,in the words people use.

Nobody wakes up wanting an integration. They wake up because somebody retypes an order number into a second screen every morning. Find the sentence that sounds like your week.

Each one goes to the page that answers it. Two of them go somewhere smaller than a build, and one of them goes to a limit rather than to an offer.

The nine

The nine

Find the onethat sounds like your week.

Every one of these is a sentence somebody has said out loud in a first conversation. None of them is a category, and none of them is a verdict on the company saying it.

  1. “We look smaller than we are.”

The business has grown, the reputation is good, and the site is the last thing that has not caught up. Bigger companies quote against you and win on the strength of looking established rather than on the strength of the work.

That is a Websites and Platforms job, and the part that matters is not the design. It is that every inquiry the new site earns arrives as a record with a source, an owner and the time it landed, so nothing is won on the page and lost in an inbox.

  2. “We get traffic, and almost no leads.”

People arrive. Nobody asks for anything. The analytics say the visits are real and the phone says the visits are not turning into work, and there is no obvious place to start fixing it.

This one starts with evidence rather than a build. Request a performance audit: twelve dimensions run against what you have and against two comparable companies in your market, with a prioritised plan and the arithmetic attached. If the plan turns out to be a rebuild, it is a Websites and Platforms job, and the audit findings go straight into its scope.

  3. “Nobody can find us, and the assistants name somebody else.”

You are on page three for the terms that matter, and when somebody asks an assistant who does this work in your province, it answers with a list you are not on. The two problems are related and they are not the same problem.

Search and AI Visibility is the page. It starts with whether the AI crawlers can reach the site at all, which a surprising number of sites block without knowing, and it is measured monthly including who gets named instead of you. Nobody honest promises a position, and that page says so in its own words.

  4. “Customers phone us all day for things they could do themselves.”

Order status. A copy of an invoice. Rebooking a visit. Where the documents are. Every one of those calls has an answer that already exists in a system somebody owns, and every one of them costs a person twenty minutes and a train of thought.

The answer is a portal, and that is Web Applications and Portals. It removes the call rather than handling it better, which is cheaper than handling it well. If what you actually want is the phone answered rather than the calls removed, that is a different purchase and HUREAL is not the right company for it: the agent modules page says so plainly, in a section written before anybody asks.

  5. “Leads die in the inbox until someone gets to them.”

The quote went out on Tuesday. It is Friday. Nobody has chased it, because chasing is the thing that gets dropped first in a busy week, and the customer has quietly gone somewhere that replied.

The smallest honest answer here is Follow-Up, a fixed scope module set out on the agent modules page: every inquiry acknowledged in minutes, every quote chased on a schedule you set, twice, and then it stops. Where the whole intake process needs rebuilding rather than chasing, Agentic Operating Systems is the larger version. This lands hardest in construction and trades.

  6. “Our systems do not talk to each other.”

The order lives in one system, the invoice in another, the customer record in a third, and a person in the middle keeps all three honest by retyping. Everybody knows which spreadsheet holds it together and everybody knows who leaves on holiday with it.

Integrations and Data is the page. The work that actually decides whether it holds is agreeing which system owns which field, written down before anything is connected. Most integration trouble is that question left open. Manufacturing and distribution carries the worked version of this one.

  7. “We are entering Quebec.”

A new market with its own language obligations, its own expectations, and customers who can tell within a sentence whether something was written or translated.

This is a Websites and Platforms build with multilingual websites underneath it: each language authored by somebody who writes it, from the same brief, with its own question research, including the forms, the errors and the automated email. What HUREAL designs for and what your counsel determines are kept separate and both are written down.

  8. “We cannot hire, and the people we want look at the website first.”

The roles are open, the pay is competitive, and the candidates you want are deciding in four seconds on a careers page that was built as an afterthought. Recruiting is a conversion problem wearing different clothes.

It is a Websites and Platforms job: the careers experience, the roles as real pages rather than a PDF, and an application path that works on a phone in a parking lot. The same measurement applies, because a role that gets applications is a page that converted.

  9. “Our developer left, and we do not have the passwords.”

The site works until it does not. Nobody knows where it is hosted, who renews the domain, or what happens when the certificate expires on a Saturday. This is the most common emergency in this list and the least discussed.

Care and Optimization is the page: monitoring, patching and improvement on a monthly arrangement you can stop. The first job is not improvement, it is getting the accounts, the domain and the admin access into your name, which is where every HUREAL engagement starts anyway.

If none of those is yours, the plain list is the other way in: all eight services, each with a one line outcome, on the services page.

Whichever one you picked

The next three stepsare the same every time.

Nine ways in, one method after that. It is published phase by phase, including the gate at the end of each one and the fourteen checks a build passes before it goes live.

01

Start with the scope, or start with the evidence

A discovery call if you know what you are building. A performance audit if you want the evidence first. Both produce a document that is yours whether or not anything follows.

02

A fixed scope, price and timeline, signed before any code

Not an hourly rate, not a range, and not a change order six weeks in. The number you sign is the number, and the things it does not include are listed next to the things it does. How we price.

03

Built in the open, in your accounts

Working software on a review schedule agreed at the start, running in your own cloud accounts under your admin access from the first commit. The whole method.

Two of the nine do not end in a build, on purpose. Situation two starts with an audit, because a plan bought before the evidence is a guess with an invoice attached. Situation four can end with us saying HUREAL is the wrong company, which is a worse day for us and a better one for whoever asked.

Two doors

Two ways to start. Both end with a document you own.

Book a discovery call

For when you know you are building something, or you know which process is costing you. A discovery call with the people who own the outcome. Afterwards you get a written proposal: a scope, a price, and a timeline you can sign or walk away from.

Book a discovery call

Request a performance audit

For when you want the evidence before the decision. Twelve dimensions run against what you have and against two comparable companies in your market, with a prioritised plan and the arithmetic attached.

Request a performance audit

Know what you are building? Book a discovery call. Not sure where the problem is? Request the audit. If neither is right for you, we will say so, and tell you what is.

None of the nine was yours? Send the question instead. You get an answer rather than a meeting invitation, written by a person, and nothing is added to a sales sequence.

What every HUREAL engagement commits to, in writing

  • A fixed scope, price and timeline, agreed before any code is written.
  • A working build, reviewed at every phase, running in your own accounts.
  • Full ownership of the code, the content and the data, with admin access from day one.
  • A named contact who is accountable for the work.
